Development Applications on Exhibition

All Development Applications on public exhibition are published on the NSW Planning Portal.

You may review plans and supporting information in relation to development applications on public exhibition, during the notification period, by selecting the Goulburn Mulwaree Local Government Area on the NSW Planning Portal DA Exhibition website:

Making a Submission on an Application

Should you make a submission on an application currently on exhibition, all submissions must be lodged online via the NSW Planning Portal. Submissions can only be made during the notification period.

Please note:

  • The NSW Planning Portal does not provide a copy of your submission once made. To keep a record, you may wish to upload your submission as a PDF document.
  • Any submission should be prepared with the understanding that it may be published.

 

Privacy and Publication of Submissions

To comply with Council’s Privacy Management Policy, please be aware of the following:

 

Consideration of Submissions

All public submissions (including petitions) on proposed developments will be considered in each Assessment Report prepared by Council. Submissions may also be:

  • Forwarded to the applicant or relevant public authorities for response
  • Included in Council reports or court proceedings
  • Released under the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009

If your submission is an objection, you must clearly state the grounds for your objection.

 

Personal Information

Names, addresses, and other identifying details provided in submissions will be published in Assessment Reports presented to Council.

 

Retention and Publication

Under Council’s Privacy Management Policy, personal information in submissions must be retained and published. Identifying details will not be removed unless a valid confidentiality request has been submitted and approved.

 

Third-Party Platforms

Submissions made via third party platforms, such as the NSW Planning Portal are subject to their own terms, conditions and privacy policies. This may result in your information being published by Council even if you request confidentiality.

 

General Publication

Council will publish identifying details (where provided) for any submissions, applications, or requests unless confidentiality requirements apply.

Persons lodging submissions are required to declare reportable political donations (including donations of more than $1,000) made in the previous two years. For more information including a disclosure form go to the Political Donations Disclosure Form(PDF, 423KB) on Council’s website.
