5. Goulburn City Heritage Conservation Area (Residential Area) Catalogue

The Goulburn City Heritage Conservation Area (Residential Area) Catalogue (the Catalogue) serves as a photographic record of all properties within the Goulburn City Heritage Conservation Area, with the exception of the CBD Core.

It provides a visually rich inventory that documents the streetscape presence of each property, alongside their historic, architectural or cultural significance.

The Catalogue builds upon previous heritage studies - most notably the 1983 Goulburn Heritage Study by Lester Firth and Associates - and modernises the assessment and presentation of Contributory buildings within the Conservation Area.

The Catalogue provides a comprehensive street-by-street photographic record and historical survey of properties within the Conservation Area which identifies State, Locally Listed and Contributory items. It includes an identification of architectural styles by era for each property within the Conservation Area, including Georgian, Victorian, Federation, Interwar, Post War, 1960’s to 1990’s and post 2000’s.
