Kerbside Collection Bulky Waste

Councillors have approved a Trial Bulky Waste Kerbside Collection for the 2026–27 financial year. This trial will cover households paying a domestic waste charge in Goulburn and Marulan.

A report from the Director of Utilities regarding Tender 2526T0009 – Kerbside Bulky Waste Collection was considered by Council in Closed Session at the Council Meeting held on 18 August 2026.

Following consideration of the tender submissions, Council resolved not to accept any of the tenders received for the proposed contract under Clause 178(3)(e) of the Local Government (General) Regulation 2021.

Council further resolved to enter negotiations for the provision of the Kerbside Bulky Waste Collection service with a suitable provider, which may include a tenderer or another party. Council determined that inviting new tenders was unlikely to attract additional submissions and therefore would not provide a more competitive outcome.

Council also delegated authority to the General Manager to finalise negotiations and award the contract once negotiations have been completed.

Council staff are working through the finer details, and residents will receive clear information with plenty of notice so you can get ready.
