Nominations for the 2026 Australia Day Awards Now Open

Goulburn Mulwaree Council invites community members to nominate outstanding individuals and events for the 2026 Australia Day Awards. These prestigious awards celebrate those whose dedication and contributions have made a significant difference in our community.

Nominations in the following categories are now open and will close on 8 December 2025:

  • Citizen of the Year
  • Young Citizen of the Year
  • Junior & Senior Sports Person of the Year, and
  • Community Event of the Year

This is a wonderful opportunity to recognise the efforts of those who inspire and uplift our community.
