NSW Planning Portal Fees and Information

NSW Government Planning Portal Fees

From 1 July 2021, a range of fees were introduced for certain planning applications and certificates that are to be paid by the applicant at the time of lodgement via the Portal. These fees are in addition to the fees charged by Council for the assessment or processing of your application. The NSW Planning Portal Fees are prescribed by Clause 263B of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Regulation and are over and above any Council related fees. The NSW Planning Portal fees have been introduced to support the ongoing maintenance and delivery of the NSW Planning Portal and the related ePlanning Digital Services.
