Bungendore Road Slope Stabilisation and Rehabilitation

Council has commenced critical slope stabilisation and road rehabilitation works on Bungendore Road - near the Crisp Creek crossing. Work includes slope regrading, drainage and erosion control, pavement reconstruction, and safety barrier upgrades.
Works will be carried out between the hours of 7am and 5pm, Monday to Friday, weather permitting, and is expected to be completed by early October 2025

Goulburn Mulwaree Library Receives Funding Boost

Goulburn Mulwaree Library has received a $120,000 grant to refurbish and upgrade its combined children’s and event space. The NSW Public Library Infrastructure grant program, administered by the State Library of NSW on behalf of the Library Council of NSW, assists NSW councils to improve library infrastructure, buildings, and technology systems. It was 1 of 23 NSW Councils to receive the funding.

Council Takes Stand for Road Safety

On Monday 12 May, at the official launch for National Road Safety Week, in Sydney, Goulburn Mulwaree Council was announced as a Yellow Ribbon Council.
Council and the Safer Australian Roads and Highways (SARAH) group have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), in which the two organisations will work together to promote road safety in the region.

Funding Boost to Revitalise Prell Oval Cricket Facilities

Over $2.56M in Safety Upgrades Completed on Jerrara Road

Goulburn Mulwaree Council has successfully completed over $2.56 million road safety upgrades on a 3.6 km section of Jerrara Road, improving driving conditions and reducing crash risks. This work was funded by the Australian Government’s Black Spot Program ($1,939,062) and the NSW Government’s Regional Emergency Road Repair Fund ($624,000).

Council Launches Free Donation Days at New Resource Shop

Goulburn Mulwaree Council is pleased to announce in late July it will be opening its new Goulburn Waste Management Resource Shop, located inside the entry gate at the Goulburn Waste Management Centre, 100 Sinclair Street, Goulburn.
In preparation for the official launch, Council invites the community to donate quality second-hand items free of charge on selected dates throughout June.
