Goulburn Aquatic Centre redevelopment – tender evaluation

Council will enter negotiations with Zauner Constructions and FDC Contracting on this project. The gym, sauna, spa and crèche will be priced as an additional option. A report will come back to Council on the 3rd March 2020 

Goulburn Health Hub Planning Proposal

Council endorsed this planning proposal which will see the land rezoned to part R1 General Residential, part B6 Enterprise Corridor and part RE1 Public Recreation along with a number of other clauses such as minimum lot size, maximum building heights and floor space ratios.

10 Lansdowne Street Planning Proposal and DCP Amendment

The draft site specific development control plan will be forwarded to the Department of Planning, Industry and Environment for a gateway determination of this planning proposal.

Indoor Pool Repair Status Report

Council received a report regarding indoor pool repairs, which are now underway. It is hoped the indoor pool will be open again for use in January.

Belmore Park Trees

A Monterey Pine Tree in Belmore Park will be removed due to high potential for failure due to presence of a canker in the compression wood. A further report will also be provided to Council on an English Elm tree which is showing signs of decay.

Thornford Road Bridge

Transbridge Group will undertake design and construction of the Thornford Road Bridge.

Electronic ‘What’s on in Goulburn’ sign at the Visitors Centre

Council decided not to proceed with installation of an electronic advertising sign at the Visitor Information Centre.

Financial Assistance – Goulburn Harness Racing Club

Council approved payment for financial assistance to the Harness Racing Club for the cartage of water totalling $4600. This will be for four race meetings being 23rd December and the 3rd, 12th and 19th of January 2020.
