Sporting Hall of Fame gala dinner postponed

The 2021 Sporting Hall of Fame Gala Dinner has been postponed due to COVID-19 restrictions. The induction and gala dinner was to be held at the Grace-Millsom Centre on Saturday 24th July however has been postponed.

This year four athletes are being inducted into the Hall of Fame, being Claire Polosak (Cricket Umpire), Amy Kolosque (Kickboxing), David Wright (Target Shooting) and Tom Toparis (Motorcycle Racing).

Goulburn Mulwaree Council does hope to still hold the event this year, and will announce the new date when COVID-19 restrictions have eased.

The Goulburn Sporting Hall of Fame acknowledges the contribution made by local athletes who are, or have been recognised as an "Australian Champion" or "International Champion" in any nationally recognised sport. Inductions are normally held every two years, with the last being in November 2018.
