A grand opening will be held for the rebranded, revitalised Goulburn Mulwaree Animal Shelter on Saturday 29th June.

The event will be an opportunity for community members to see the rebranded facility, as well as the animals currently in care at the shelter.

Mayor Bob Kirk invited residents to come along on the 29th to see the great improvements that have been achieved at the animal shelter in Ross Street.

“The grand opening will be a fun day, with a BBQ run by Rotary Goulburn, and balloon animals and face painting being done by Rainbow Faces. Most importantly it’s an opportunity to see the facility, along with all animals up for adoption which will be available to view on the day.”

“Our staff have done a great job over the past 12 months to improve the rate of re-homing and animal adoption, and we want this to continue!”

The event is free, and will run from 11am – 2pm on Saturday 29th June. The Goulburn Mulwaree Animal Shelter is located at 41B Ross Street, Goulburn.
