Remembrance Day

On Friday 11 November a service will be held for Remembrance Day at the base of the Rocky Hill War Memorial Tower and I will be laying a wreath, everyone is welcome to attend.

As there is limited parking available a shuttle bus will be running from Carr Confoy Park from 9.30am – 12.30pm, signage will be displayed so you will know where to go. The service will commence at 10.30am and we encourage everyone to be at Rocky Hill by 10.15am seated and ready for the service.

This year there will be mobility scooters available to take people from the car park up to the tower.

Remembrance Day is a day to remember, to remember.

Australian Blues Music Festival

The Australian Blues Music Festival is traditionally held on the second weekend of February every year, but given the issues COVID-19 caused globally, the 2022 edition will be held in November.

From 18-20 November 2022, the 25th annual Australian Blues Music Festival will showcase the very best of Aussie blues talent.

Across 3 days, 30 incredible blues acts will perform in multiple venues around Goulburn, transforming our beautiful, historic city into a blues music destination not to be missed.

The line-up includes the finest local & interstate acts featuring well known stars of the blues circuit like Owen Campbell & the Cosmic People, Sultana Southwell and Roulette & the SunBears as well as visiting acts to thrill all tastes, including Minnie Marks, the Marvellous Hearts & the amazing new talent of Chloe Kay and the Crusade.

Performances can be seen at multiple venues including the Goulburn Railway Bowling Club's outdoor stage, Goulburn Workers at two great locations, the Lounge and the McKell Bar, along with the Hume Conservatorium & the Goulburn Club all providing wonderful locations to sit back and enjoy the Blues! Goulburn Mulwaree Council are focussed on building great events for the region, and have engaged Australian National Events to produce this important event for the community and visitors alike.

We look forward to welcoming the Australian Blues Music Festival back for 2022.
