2024 Australia Day Award Nominations

Nominations are now open!

Is there a local hero who has been doing amazing work in our community? Have you been to an event that you though was the best of 2023? Or maybe you know of a sportsperson who has achieved outstanding results in 2023. If so the Goulburn Mulwaree Australia Day Awards are an excellent way to honour them.

The Goulburn Australia Day Committee are calling for nominations for the following categories:

  • Local Citizen of the year 
  • Young Citizen of the year
  • Community Event of the year
  • Junior Sports person of the year
  • Senior Sports person of the year

Awards are presented to recognise outstanding achievements, events, or contributions to the local and sporting community in non-financial capacities during the past year.

Awards will be presented at the Australia Day event to be held at Victoria Park, on Friday 26 January 2024.
