HOLCIM MAYORAL CHARITY GOLF DAY
The Mayor of Goulburn Mulwaree Council, Councillor Peter Walker will be hosting the Holcim Mayoral Charity Golf Day on Friday 25th November 2022. This is a four-person Ambrose event over 18 holes and held at the Goulburn Golf Club.
Now in its 14th year, the day raises money for local not-for-profit charities. It also provides an opportunity for improving the relationship between the Council and the community.
Registration for teams of 4 players is now open, with the cost being $40 per player which includes green fees, lunch and drink vouchers.
The aim of the Holcim Mayoral Charity Golf Day is to raise money for local charities. The Beneficiaries for this year’s event have been selected by an Expressions of Interest process, they are as follows:
- Riding for the Disabled Association (NSW) Goulburn Centre 60%
- Can Assist Goulburn and District 30%
- Peanuts Wellbeing Sanctuary Inc. (Oallen) 10%
This year’s raffle will be hosted by Peanuts Wellbeing Sanctuary Inc.
“I’d like to thank our major sponsor Holcim, without whom we simply could not run the golf day. However now we need further support of the local business community so that the Holcim Mayoral Charity Golf Day is as successful as it can be”. Mayor Peter Walker said.
Council is seeking support from local businesses who would like to provide sponsorship to the Golf Day. The nature of the sponsorship sought is in-kind or financial assistance towards the event.
