Goulburn Mulwaree Council in partnership with the RSPCA will host a free micro chipping and vaccination day for cats and dogs on Saturday 28th September at the Goulburn Recreation Area.

The free micro chipping and vaccination day is subsidised by Council and is for eligible pension and health care card holders in the Goulburn Mulwaree Council area. Eligible residents are able to register up to two animals for the event but pre event registration is required.

Sarah Ainsworth, Business Manager Environment & Health encouraged eligible community members to take advantage of the day.

“We are thrilled to be able to provide this event to the local community to the great benefit of local pets. It is hoped that the day will also help in reducing the instances of parvovirus in the local community as the region heads into the warmer months when the disease is most prevalent.”

Bookings are essential, and should be made by calling 0432 884 400. The day will run from 10am to 1pm on Saturday 28th September 2019.

Offer only available to Goulburn Mulwaree Council pet owners with a valid pension or health care card. Card and proof of address must be presented. Maximum two animal limit per household. Please call to discuss if you require service for more than two animals. All dogs must be on leads and cats in carriers on the day.

The day is made possible by the RSPCA New South Wales, Clinton Street Veterinary clinic, Goulburn Veterinary Clinic and the Crookwell Veterinary Hospital.
