MODDA – 65 Foord Road, Run-O-Waters

Council resolved to approve this planning application subject to a number of conditions. Council removed some conditions including the need to build access ways to the property boundary and to provide electricity to the site.

Councillor Remuneration 2021/22

 The annual Councillor and Mayoral fee will be increased to $20,690 and $45,140 (respectively) effective from 1 July 2021 in accordance with the Local Government Remuneration Tribunal Annual Report and Determination of 23 April 2021.


Stronger Country Communities Fund

Council will apply for $700,000 for resurfacing of the netball courts at Carr Confoy, and $350,000 for emergency access, landscaping, toilets, signage and tiered seating at North Park.

Goulburn Lilac City Festival Markets

Council approved the Goulburn Lilac City Festival to operate markets if they wish to proceed, between 7am and 1pm.

Kinghorne Street Load Limit – Feasibility of traffic calming measures

Council decided that the proposed threshold treatments for the load limited section of Kinghorne Street are not required at this time. 

Proposed amendments to road widths

Council will place a number of proposed amendments to road widths for cul-de-sacs, access streets and local roads in new subdivisions on public exhibition for 28 days.

Hurst Street Heritage Conservation Area

No further action in relation to listing 22 Hurst Street as an Item of Environmental Heritage in Schedule 5 of the Goulburn Mulwaree Local Environmental Plan 2009 will be undertaken. This household is already located within the Hurst Street Heritage Conservation Area.

Sustainability Working Party

Council approved the composition and brief of this working party. Direct appointments will be sought from the Chamber of Commerce and the four high schools for representatives.
