Housing Strategy

Housing Strategy

On 18th December 2018 Council resolved to place the Draft Urban and Fringe Housing Strategy on public exhibition and invite submissions from the public and stakeholders. 

The Urban and Fringe Housing Strategy forms a key part of Council’s Your Future Your Say Strategic Planning program and analyses the potential for residential development in and around the existing urban centres of Goulburn and Marulan.  The Draft Housing Strategy presents options for future residential growth in and around these centres and Council wants to hear if you think these are satisfactory.

Council is able to receive your views on the Draft Housing Strategy and it’s options for a period of six (6) weeks from:


10th January to 22nd February 2019

Engagement strategies have been adopted for you to participate in the consultation process including drop-ins, surveys and, of course, having staff on hand to respond to your enquiries.

Key dates in the engagement strategy:

10th January to 22nd February                Housing Strategy webpage will be launched

Written or emailed submissions can be sent to the addresses below including the yoursay.goulburn survey website.  Written submission must be received by COB 22nd February 2019

As well as our online platforms we will be accepting written submissions. Whichever way you choose, please send your submission clearly indicated as ‘Housing Strategy Submission’ to the General Manager via the following methods:

-          Hand to Customer Service staff at the Civic Centre, Bourke Street, Goulburn
