Queen’s Memorial Public Holiday

 

Some Goulburn Mulwaree Council facilities will not be available on Thursday 22 September, due to the public holiday for a National Day of Mourning to observe the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

Council will continue to provide essential services on the one-off public holiday, including waste collection services.

The following council sites will close for the public holiday:

  • Civic Centre
  • Goulburn Community Centre
  • Goulburn Mulwaree Library
  • Goulburn Mulwaree Animal Shelter
  • Goulburn Regional Art Gallery
  • Waste Management Centre

The following council sites will be open with varied trading hours:

  • Goulburn Aquatic & Leisure Centre: 9am - 5pm
  • Goulburn Performing Arts Centre will open from 6.30pm until 10pm for the Mighty Playwrights only
  • Visitor Information Centre: 10am - 4pm

A Service of Thanks Giving for the life and work of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, for the Goulburn Mulwaree community, will be held at St Saviour’s Cathedral on Bourke Street from 2pm on Thursday 22 September, 2022.
