Deputy Mayoral Election

Councillor Peter Walker will retain the position of Deputy Mayor for the remainder of the current term of Council.  

Committee and Working Party appointments

The appointment of councillors to committees and working parties for the remainder of this term was confirmed.

Six attached town houses – 10 Ben Bullen Place, Goulburn

Determination of this development application was deferred pending staff having discussions with the applicant regarding DCP setback requirements, traffic movements, visitor parking, streetscape and softening the architectural impact on the neighbourhood.

Draft Planning Agreement – 50 Brayton Road, Marulan

Councillors resolved to place this draft planning agreement which is associated with development applicatoin 0171/1819 for a 16 lot residential subdivision and one drainage lot be place on public exhibition for 28 days.

Compliance Update

Council received a comprehensive update on 31 compliance issues in the Goulburn Mulwaree Region. The report also included an update on monitoring programs such as the food inspection program and drinking water sampling.

Draft Vegetation Removal Offset Policy and associated fees

This policy and the associated fees were adopted following an extensive public exhibition period.

Tender: Trainee and apprentice employment services

Council awarded this tender to Recruitment Solutions Group for a three year period, with the option of two one-year extensions.

Request for Financial assistance – Goulburn Car & Motorcycle Show

Council will provide $2,976.68 in in-kind support for this event which will be held at the Goulburn Recreation Area in November 2021.
