Public Exhibition – Draft Heritage Strategy 2022 - 2025
Goulburn Mulwaree is an area rich in both Aboriginal and European heritage. Council is committed to recording and preserving the heritage of the area. This includes a commitment to balancing the community’s need to use and enjoy our cultural resources with their protection, enhancement, and renewal. The Draft Heritage Strategy is designed to achieve these heritage outcomes by providing recommendations for ongoing and future actions.
The Draft Heritage Strategy 2022 - 2025 (Draft Strategy) is now on public exhibition from 16 December 2022 to 10 February 2023.
The Draft Strategy can be viewed during operating hours at the Council or Library, 184 Bourke Street, Goulburn or alternatively can be viewed online on the Council web page under “Public Exhibition & Notices”.
Written submissions may be made at any time during the period of public exhibition but must be submitted to Council before close of business Friday 10 February 2023.
Submissions referencing the “Draft Heritage Strategy” are to be addressed to: The Chief Executive Officer, Goulburn Mulwaree Council, Locked Bag 22, Goulburn NSW 2580, alternatively they can be emailed to council@goulburn.nsw.gov.au.
