In July 2014, Goulburn Mulwaree Council signed the Small Business Friendly Councils (SBFC) Charter. This Charter sets out a number of benchmarks that Council has agreed to meet to foster and support small business in our Local Government Area, and has been developed to help Councils to:

  • Operate in a way that enhance public confidence in Council’s commitment to engage proactively and effectively with small businesses;
  • Recognise the standards that are expected when engaging with small businesses, and
  • Identify best practice approaches to encouraging a vibrant and flourishing small business sector;
