Outreach Meetings

Goulburn Mulwaree Council has confirmed the calendar for the 2019 Community Outreach Meetings.

The meetings provide an opportunity for community members to meet and discuss council related issues with Councillors and senior staff; rural communities are encouraged to come along and have their say on council matters and projects.

The 2019/20 budget has allocated over $92 million towards Capital works. This includes significant investment in water treatment, the Aquatic Centre redevelopment, developing Riverside Park in Mary’s Mount and replacement of the May Street Bridge and Thornford Road Bridge. There is an allocation of a further $3.5 million on rural road works such as major works on Sandy Point Road, Range Road and Mountain Ash Road.

Mayor Bob Kirk has highlighted that these meetings are an excellent time for the rural residents in Goulburn Mulwaree. “With these Meetings approaching, it is a great time for the Goulburn Mulwaree community not just to meet the councillors but to also come and voice your thoughts, opinions and ideas.”
