Community is important to Goulburn Mulwaree Council.
We provide information, referral and centre based respite activities for frail aged, older people with disabilities and their carers.
Neighbour Aid Services
Council coordinates volunteers to supply a range of services that provide social and practical support and assistance to frail aged people, people with a disability and the carers.
Leisure Link Services
Leisure Link offers a variety of social and recreational activities for people with physical or intellectual disabilities. It aims to provide opportunities to experience a wide range and level of activities; Leisure Link can provide a one-to-one link for people and group activities. All programs operate with the assistance of volunteers
Centre based respite activities
Goulburn Mulwaree Council offers a number of centre based respite activities at different locations each week.
McDermott Centre - 163 Auburn Street Goulburn each Monday Tuesday and Wednesday from 10.30am - 2pm. Cost is $5.00 for your meal and activities.
Brewer Centre - Marulan each Thursday from 10.30am - 2pm. Cost is $5.00 for your meal and activities.
Taralga - Last Thursday of every month - 10.30am to 2pm. Cost is $5.00 for your meal and activities.
