Goulburn Workers Club on-site parking
Councillors requested staff investigate the options
for use of section 94 contributions and 94A levies made for developments within
the CBD for the purposes of parking and associated infrastructure, and
encourage discussions with prospective developers to achieve broader public
benefits from financial and in-kind contributions within the CBD.
Sewer Rehabilitation Contract
Extension
The contract with Interflow Pty Ltd was extended for
two years as per Contract 1414T0003.
Policy
Review
A number of Business Services policies were placed
on public exhibition. These included Council’s Investment Policy, Debt Recovery
Policy, and Pensioner Rebate Policy.
Councillors also reviewed the Delegations Policy,
Customer Service Policy and the Hardship Policy.
Inquiry
into Regional Development and a Global Sydney
Councillors
endorsed a submission to Legislative Council’s Standing Committee on State
Development into Regional Development and a global Sydney.
Catholic
Primary Schools Basketball Challenge
Council
agreed to fund the hire of the Veolia Arena for this event on the 18th and 19th
November at a cost of $4,097.
Waste Water Farm Land Use Proposal
Council staff
will now prepare a planning proposal for the rezoning of land incorporating the
Waste Water Irrigation Farm and surrounding area for submission to the
Department of Planning for gateway approval.
