Animal of the week - Arlo

Animal of the week - Arlo

Name: Arlo

Breed: Mix Breed (Large male)

Age (If known): Approximately 12 months

Any interesting facts or personality traits:

Arlo is a young pup that is very active and happy. He loves being around people and tries to attract as much attention as he possibly can. Arlo loves treats which would make his training easier as it would be required for him to become a well-mannered gentleman (he knows how to sit though). He is also very happy to meet new fur friends and is very polite when doing so.

What type of family/person would this animal suit:

Because Arlo is a young and very active puppy an active couple/person would probably be the best bet for him to take him on lots of walks and exercise him every day. He would also require a decent size back yard as he is going to be a big boy.

Adoption cost and conditions:

The adoption process at the Companion Animal Facility is relatively easy. We ask that if you are interested in an animal, please attend our facility in Goulburn to meet the animal and the Ranger team so that we can make sure that the animal is the right match for you. We do not take expressions of interest over the phone or via email.

Once you have decided on which future pet you would like to adopt from the facility, all that is required by you is to make a payment at the Companion Animal Facility by either cash, cheque or eftpos, provide details for the microchip and registration paperwork and then pick up your future pet from the Council veterinary service provider once they have been de-sexed and vaccinated (Council staff will advise you when the animal is booked in at the veterinary clinic. This usually falls within 14 days of the purchase).

The Companion Animal Facility is open during the following hours if you would like to view the dog or cat in person,

Monday - Friday

8:00am - 9:00am
12:30pm - 1:30pm
4:00pm - 4:30pm
8:30am - 9:30am

Saturday

Please Note: The Goulburn Mulwaree Council Companion Animal Facility is closed on Sundays and all public holidays.
