Waste Management Centre
Council operates a landfill at 100 Sinclair Street. The landfill accepts all types of inert waste, putrescible waste and asbestos.
Council does not accept waste from outside the Goulburn Mulwaree Council area. Asbestos can only be accepted from the Goulburn City area. Charges apply.

Major works are underway at the Waste Management Centre to improve our environmental performance and make the facility more user friendly. Waste minimisation and recycling are a priority of Council. Works are being planned to increase diversion rates from landfill.
Goulburn Waste Management Centre Opening Hours: Open seven days per week 8am to 4.45 p.m. (except Christmas Day, Good Friday and Council Picnic Day - held on Melbourne Cup Day).
Marulan Waste Management Centre Opening Hours: Open Friday to Monday 8am to 4.45 p.m. (Closed on Good Friday and Christmas Day).
Tarago Waste Management Centre Opening Hours: Open Friday to Monday 8am to 4.45 p.m. (Closed on Good Friday and Christmas Day).
