Practice Note 1 - Land Application of Poultry Litter
Council has prepared a Practice Note for the Land Application of Poultry Litter. This Practice Note applies to the spreading of poultry litter as part of the normal agricultural activity on the farm. The Practice Note was adopted by Council on 19 April 2006, Minute No. 06/211and is effective from 19 April 2006
The aim of the practice note is to optimise the use of a resource, whilst controlling any adverse environmental impact of poultry litter. A copy of the adopted Practice Note is downloadable in PDF format below.
