Federal Government confirms $20 million to secure Goulburn’s water supply
Mayor of Goulburn Mulwaree Cr Paul Stephenson has praised the “foresight and integrity” of the Australian Government for honouring a commitment of $20 million to help secure Goulburn’s water supply.
“Council received a letter from the Minister for Climate Change and Water, Penny Wong, on 4 June which clearly states that the new Labour Government will provide the $20 million funding proposed by the former Liberal Government,” Cr Stephenson said.
