Council is committed to providing a high quality service. The service promotes a 'Yes We Can' approach and staff are available to assist you with your enquiries.
Council's role is primarily to check projects against development regulations including the Local Environment Plan and Building Code of Australia.
As part of this process a free advisory service is provided prior to lodgement to ensure that documentation is of an acceptable standard. Please remember that unfortunately Council does not offer a design service.
Council now has a Customer Service Counter for customer enquiries. The counter is located on the lower floor of the Civic Centre, Bourke Street Goulburn.
For technical advice, staff are available at allocated times of the day.
For general Town Planning enquiries, Town Planners are available Monday-Friday between 10.30am and 11.30am.
For general Building enquiries, Building Inspectors are available Monday-Friday between 3.30pm and 4.30pm.
