Goulburn Mulwaree Council is providing another free child restraint fitting day, a service which normally costs $30, to encourage safe transport for the youngest members of our community, and compliance with the new child restraint regulations.
New safety regulations come into force on 1 March 2010. Children up to seven years old must now be secured in a child restraint or booster seat.
As there are a limited number of places available on the day, bookings are essential and should be made directly with Goulburn’s authorised RTA child restraint fitter, Rapid Auto Repair on 4822 3222. See attached flyer for more information.
