The Logbook Run, a free learner driver event designed to give local young people a wide range of driving experiences whilst on their L-plates, will be held on Sunday 24 August 2008.
The Rotary Club of Goulburn in conjunction with Council's Road Safety Officer, local Police and community volunteers have designed the day to include exposure to a wide range of driving conditions and tasks such as breath tests, roundabouts, highway driving, traffic lights, narrow bridges and speed checks. Road Safety Officer, Vanessa Toparis, said "We aim to provide an opportunity for learner drivers to experience many of the topics included in the Graduated Licensing Scheme's Log Book and clock up some time on the road."
