Christmas and January Staffing Policy

The objective of this policy is to outline work arrangements for the Christmas and January period, particularly as it relates to the operation of the Civic Centre that will ensure:

  • Effective management of Council’s services by ensuring service availability matches demand       
  • Council’s ongoing commitment to Occupational Health and Safety by ensure staff have regular breaks           
  • Council achieving its goal of being seen as a “Family Friendly” employer
  • Complement management of leave liability
