A schedule of Meeting Dates for Council's Ordinary Meetings, General Purposes Meetings and Committee Meetings. This schedule has been updated (19/11/08). NOTE that committee meeting dates are subject to issue of agenda. The schedule is available in a downloadable pdf format. It is advisable to contact Council's offices on 4823 4444 to confirm dates & times of Committee Meetings listed. Note - Council Meetings and General Purposes Committee Meetings dates/times do not change from the Schedule attached. Local Traffic Committee The Local Traffic Committee (LTC) is not a committee of Council under the meaning of the Local Govt Act, 1993. The operating arrangements for the LTC are contained within the document “A guide to the delegation to Councils for the regulation of traffic” issued by the RTA.
The role of the LTC is to consider the technical aspects of any proposal.
The merits of any action from a public perspective is the responsibility of the Council and thus residents views should be taken into account by the Council rather than the LTC. However, there is nothing preventing the LTC from agreeing to allow members of the public to address the committee.
