Cr Nina Dillon
Cr Nina Dillon was elected to Goulburn Mulwaree Council in September 2008.
She operates her own accountancy practice in Goulburn, and also has a small farm in partnership with her husband Richard. Cr Dillon holds degrees in Accountancy and Law, and believes she has a commonsense approach to management.
She is keen to see the region grow and thrive, and is excited at the prospect of serving Goulburn Mulwaree as a member of our vibrant and positive community.
Born in Goulburn in 1960, Cr Dillon attended Breadalbane South and Goulburn High schools. She is married with four children, all of whom still live and work in the Goulburn area.
Cr Dillon is a member of the Goulburn Accountants Association, an Honorary Auditor of the Goulburn Swans AFL, Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA) and a Justice of the Peace.
She lists her interests as family and the community. Cr Dillon is an advocate for education opportunities for our youth, along with responsible natural resource management. She is very proud of her Goulburn roots and loves the region unconditionally.
Cr Dillon plans to use her expertise as an accountant to provide leadership and guidance in financial management. She aims to serve the community as a voice for both rural and city residents on local government issues. She also wants to encourage business ventures to provide long term jobs and a diverse community.
Cr Dillon sees her role as a Councillor as an opportunity to be involved in a consultative partnership between the Council and the community.
